Broadcast Schedule for this Week

Hello All!

I will be on the call for Marshall Baseball against Ohio University on Wednesday April 9th at 2:45. I will be doing play by play for this game. You can tune in at Marshall.edu/WMUL online STREAM 3.

On Sunday April 13th, I will be on the call for Marshall Softball against North Texas at 11:45. I will be color for this game. You can tune into this game at 88.1FM WMUL, and online at Marshall.edu/WMUL.

Orson's Time Up In Cincinnati?



Controversial is one word that may describe the decision that the Bengals Coaching Staff made last pre-season. It would not be an overstatement to say that the Orson Charles experiment has now failed.

Early on as a Bengal it seemed that Charles was going to become a solid back-up for Jermaine Gresham. After a solid season of being unproductive, the Coaching staff moved Charles to the H-Back / Fullback position. This became nearly a 3-way competition between Charles, Former Starting Fullback Chris Presley, and former Bengal and Jet, John Conner.

Andy Dalton On His Way Out?



If the horse of “is Andy Dalton a suitable quarterback for the Bengals?” has not been beaten to death, it will be soon. Not just because of another article being written about it, but because of recent comments from Cincinnati Bengals Owner, Mike Brown.

According to an article, “Five Questions with Mike Brown” by Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer, there are reoccurring issues in contract talks between Andy Dalton, the people that represent Andy Dalton, and of course Mike Brown.
“What do we do? Do we sign guys then find out we don’t have enough to do him? Or do we risk and hold back enough to make sure we can get him done and maybe lose a guy or two? That is what happened to us already this year” said Brown.
It would not be unreasonable to assume Brown is talking about the recent losses of OT Anthony Collins and DE Michael Johnson. Both players signed for substantial contract amounts with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Free Agency Period.

Another comment from Brown shows that this is not the first time that these issues have arisen with Dalton.
